When opening more than one EdAlive network program (e.g., BRAINtastic!, Typing Tournament, Ultimate Maths Invaders, Volcanic Panic!, Baggin' the Dragon, Words Rock!), the client fails with a connection error. However, if you click "Search again" the client connects to the EdAlive Server without difficulty.
Downloading and installing the latest EdAlive Server should fix this issue.
