Through the Admin Login function, question levels for each player can be set to match individual levels of competence, so younger and older children can compete fairly. Performance monitoring tools allow areas of strength and weakness to be easily identified, showing exactly where a child's learning may need extra support. The EdAlive Server, available as part of the Network editions of the products allows instructors to centrally manage student data.
Each Upfront collection features a comprehensive library of teacher-created, standards-aligned activities that covers math and language arts curriculum for each grade range. The activities include a wide variety of question types, including multiple-choice, drag-and-drop, missing answer, point-and-click, algorithms, quizzes, patterns and more.
The activities follow a scope & sequence so teachers can use it "right out of the box". Teachers can also use the Question List Editor to review the activities and create custom Question Lists for their classrooms.
Question Lists can be shared across computers for use with interactive whiteboards, digital projectors, touch screens or display panels. Upfront can also be used to create printable worksheets, making it even easier for students to follow along.
